Manager Wayne Davis came to East Texas Baptist Encampment in November of 2002 with a background of camp
experience ranging from Director of Guest Service, Director of Maintenance, Director of Food Service,
as well as certifications in Challenge Course, Riffles, pool, water and sewer.
Wayne graduated from Houston High School in Mo. He received his
Bachelor of Science in Theology from Wayland Baptist University.
He has been a pastor and church planter.
Wayne has a background in construction, painting, and sales.
Wayne and Penny have been married 23 yrs. They have five children, four of whom have worked at ETBE in many
capacities from lifeguards, ropes course, maintenance, house keeping and food service before departing for their college studies.

Office Manager Penny Davis came to East Texas Baptist Encampment in November of 2002. Her camp experience begin as a
facilitator for the Ropes Challenge Course and went on to include reservations and office management. She holds certifications as a lifeguard, lifeguard instructor, ropes facilitator, and Archery Range Safety Officer.
Penny graduated from high school in Wichita Falls. She received her
Associate of Performing Arts form Veron Regional Jr. College and her Bachelor of Arts in
Elementary Education from Wayland Baptist University.
Penny has a background in teaching, performing arts, and dance instruction.
Wayne and Penny have been married 23 yrs. She considers the opportunity for their family to have served individually in Mexico, Chilie, Ukraine,
Germany, Japan, and the Middle East as a great blessing.
James and Frankie Levings
James is to be the new Assistant Manager.
Frankie is the Food Service Director.
They come to ETBE with a wealth of camp experience. James is a range instructor, lifeguard, and ropes course facilitator. He will also manage the volunteer work crews and co-ordinate our summer staff. Frankie will be serving up food sprinkled in love. She also will be working in
programming with our camps.
They have a daughter and son-in-law in the Houston area but most importantly is their grandson, who they will be able to spoil much easier now.
Lisa Gentry has been an asset to ETBE since 2007. Lisa works part time handling our bookkeeping and finances. Lisa has vast experience in book keeping and accounting from a wide
field ranging from logging companies to country clubs, and resorts.
Lisa also has a passion to help children placed with CPS and in foster care.
